Avantpage Life Sciences Story
We built Avantpage Life Sciences because we know how difficult it is to navigate highly regulated markets. We provided translation services through our parent company, Avantpage, for more than 20 years, working with some of the largest names in healthcare, education, and elections. We’ve dedicated ourselves to learning, understanding, and tailoring our services to each client’s unique needs and regulations. Life science translation requires the same high service levels, deep industry knowledge, strict adherence to process, and commitment to high quality that distinguishes Avantpage’s work.
Our international expansion began in 2009 when we opened our second location in Mexico City. Six years later, we continued our growth by opening a third location in Warsaw. Our Warsaw office provides extended production hours to our clients and also connects us to the European market.
Now, we are proud to expand our Warsaw office again by offering our translation services to the European life sciences market.
With our offices in the Americas and Europe and our vast network of specialized translators, we can give our clients superior translations and peace of mind.

With more than 10 years of industry experience, Vera Hooijdonk has seen the industry as a professional translator and with different roles in both project and operations management. At Avantpage Life Sciences, Ms. Hooijdonk’s main goal is to deliver smooth and efficient services that meet and exceed our client needs and expectations. Her passion for languages and the desire to go beyond is what drives her to become a reliable partner for our life science customers.

Dr. Luis Miguel holds a Ph.D. in computer science and is a recognized leader in the translation industry. As ALS President, Dr. Miguel brings his passion for serving, leadership skills, and decisive business acumen to nurture an organization that reflects his vision: globally competitive, adaptive to change, and focused on delivering exceptional quality while remaining cost-effective and value-centric.
